Questions intrigue people, they get them interested, and increase engagement on social media.  When you ask a question, people will not only pause to think about their own answer but they are curious about other answers as well.

So today we are putting a little spice in your routine social media posts by adding questions. Questions tend to get higher engagement which increases the likelihood of being seen by more people {because….algorithms}

What I love about these social media questions is that you can schedule them in advance.

{60 Minute Marketing Members – you have the swipe file of these questions ready to go in your membership area! Just upload the file to your social media scheduler and you are done!}

Use whatever scheduling platform you prefer but just make sure to check in daily! The social part of social media means you have to be social!

Scheduling and forgetting about it is not going to help you with your brand.

Scheduling social media in advance can run you $6-$99/month. There are ways to make your scheduling less expensive {or even free} but it’s going to cost you in TIME.

Be sure that you are spending your time wisely though. Updating social media for 3 hours a day when it isn’t bringing in income is a fast way to destroy your business so weigh the pros and cons of money versus time before making a decision.

All the social media research studies have shown that posts with images receive more clicks, likes, comments, and shares than posts with just text.

Facebook recently added a feature allowing you to style your text status updates on colored backgrounds because….{drum roll, please}….it increases engagement!

I know, I know. Creating 100 images sounds worse than spending an evening with 20 preschoolers jacked up on Halloween candy.

Which is why they have all been created for you inside of the 60 Minute Marketing Makeover. {High fives} Yup…go get ’em.

If you are not a member of 60 Minute Marketing, there is always Canva.com

Canva is a free, online graphic design tool. I love Canva {and I do graphic design for a living}. Super simple to use in comparison to something like Photoshop.

The only downside with this option is that it requires a lot of time to design your own images. Again, decide to weigh the pros and cons…your cost vs your time.

If the done-for-you route sounds better, check out the 60 Minute Marketing Makeover.

These high engagement questions are great for Twitter, Facebook groups, your Facebook page, LinkedIn, and Instagram. You can also take polls on Facebook and Instagram stories.

But BE PATIENT. If your audience is small, keep in mind it will take awhile to get some good engagement. So don’t be discouraged if no one comments or engages right away.
